In 1998, brothers Mark and Chris Hanson took the reins of Mueller Sprinklers from its original owners in Columbus, NE. With Mark’s extensive experience in irrigation dating back to 1978 and Chris’s background as a Supervisor at Appleton Electric and Columbus Hydraulics, the duo brought a wealth of expertise to the table.
Pooling their skills and vision, Mark and Chris set out to transform Mueller Sprinklers into a year-round enterprise. Recognizing the value of providing stable employment for their team and avoiding seasonal layoffs, they expanded the company’s services to include snow removal and construction during the off-season.
Their strategic decision to diversify enabled Mueller Sprinklers to thrive beyond its original scope, ensuring continuous opportunities for their employees and sustained growth for the business. Today, their dedication and foresight have firmly established Mueller Sprinklers as a leading provider of comprehensive outdoor services in the Northeastern Nebraska region.
